Eszence was originally founded in 2000 under the name of Just Relax by Carrina Lau, and is conveniently located in Burlingame, CA.

Meet the Owner:
Carrina is a licensed experienced massage therapist who loves to share her passion for health and well-being. She received her license in Massage Therapy in 1999 from the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, CA. With her nurturing, supportive, and energetic approach, Carrina has helped many people reach a heightened state of relaxation, recover from injury, as well as rejuvenate and stimulate their energy level. Her style is calming and specific.

Carrina works with each client to develop and implement the best course of treatment for each unique condition. Her philosophy is to engage clients through massage and education to promote a healthy, balanced, and mindful lifestyle.

While Carrina’s main love is helping people achieve a pain free body and a relaxing mind thru her massages, she also enjoys fashion design and drawing.
